# Welcome to REEFund

Overview

We're excited to introduce an innovative crowdfunding application that not only makes use of the Lens Protocol, but offers something even more intriguing: we're building a platform where all donations for the duration of campaigns are deposited in Aave. Profits derived from this will be disbursed partially as grants for projects supporting environmental protection.

This new approach to crowdfunding is an innovative method of combining digital finance and environmental advocacy, with the objective of creating a more sustainable world. Donors not only contribute to causes they care about, but their donations are also put to work in decentralized finance, generating returns that further support eco-friendly projects.

In addition, our application incorporates integration with the Lens Protocol. This feature is particularly appealing for users as it enables them to verify the creators of campaigns and view their daily posts. The incorporation of Lens Protocol enhances transparency and credibility, fostering trust in the crowdfunding process.

We are still in the development phase, working diligently to perfect the features and ensure a seamless user experience. To give you a better understanding of our work, we have a YouTube demo available. We look forward to the imminent launch and are excited to see the impact this application will make in blending finance and philanthropy to benefit our planet.
